Product Overview This processor is intended for use with compatible desktop computers, laptop computers, servers, workstations and other supported systems. The exact specifications depend on the processor model shown on the product page. Processor compatibility varies between different motherboards and devices. Before ordering, please check the processor socket, motherboard chipset, BIOS support, memory compatibility, graphics requirements, cooling requirements and power supply capacity. Please compare the complete processor model and specifications with the requirements of your device before placing the order. Compatibility Information Confirm that the processor socket matches the socket supported by your motherboard. Check the motherboard manufacturer support page to confirm that the selected processor model is included in the supported processor list. Some motherboards may require a BIOS update before the processor can be recognised correctly. Check whether the processor includes integrated graphics. A separate graphics card is required when integrated graphics are not available. Make sure the cooling system is suitable for the processor power rating and installation platform. Confirm that the motherboard chipset, memory generation and power delivery system support the selected processor. Some processor chips require specialist installation equipment and technical knowledge. These components are not suitable for standard processor replacement or installation. Package Information The processor may be supplied in protective packaging without a retail box. A cooling fan or heatsink is not included unless it is specifically shown or stated on the product page. Product images are for reference. The label position, surface markings, packaging and production batch may vary. The processor model and main specifications supplied will match the information shown on the product page. Purchase Notes Check the complete processor model before ordering. Confirm compatibility with the motherboard model, BIOS version, chipset, memory platform, graphics system, cooling system and power supply. Processors without integrated graphics require a separate graphics card. Processors with higher power requirements may require a more capable cooling system. An unsupported BIOS version, incorrect installation, incompatible motherboard or insufficient power supply may prevent the system from starting. Installation must be completed while the device is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Appropriate anti-static precautions should be followed. Important Information Processor compatibility cannot be determined only by the socket type. The motherboard model, chipset, BIOS version, supported processor list, memory platform, graphics configuration, cooling capacity and power supply must also be suitable. Please check all relevant specifications carefully before placing the order.
