Then, readjust the position of the teeth to the required temperature. Note that turning clockwise will decrease the outlet temperature and turning counterclockwise will increase the outlet temperature. Depending on the inlet water conditions, the temperature of each tooth (notch) may vary from 4° to 16°F. Repeat as necessary, pushing until the disc is fully seated.
