The Platinum 16500C 9" Ergo Crimp Tool represents the next generation of crimp tool technology. Crimping is even easier and more comfortable with a reduced handle grip distance, making it ideal for all hand sizes and allows for a prolonged, comfortable use. A straight-plate lower jaw assembly eliminates critical stress points common in most competitive tools. The tool won't break under heavy stress and will last for years to come. The 16500C is a frame only but will accept crimp die sets from most other popular tools meaning your old crimping dies will work! Platinum Ergo crimp tools feature a smooth ratcheted crimp cycle with a safety release and no break over hand force. The adjustable cam allows precision ratchet adjustment, given you the perfect crimp no matter which die set you use. Platinum Tools, founded in 1997, was created based upon two very simple objectives. First, develop, manufacture and source the absolute best possible solutions for preparation, installation and hand termination of wire and cable. Second, implement an operational infrastructure that can deliver these products in an efficient, timely and high quality manner.
