Once removed, completely remove or cut the tire and any residue left behind. 3. Place the new tire onto the wheel rim, then use a short rod or pipe between the tire and wheel. Roll the pipe around the rim to equalize the tire's elasticity. 4. Squeeze a small amount of glue onto a brush and apply it to the tire and wheel surface. Repeat all the way around the rim.
