Basic instructions for use Prepare the cavity following conventional techniques. Remove decayed tissue and clean the cavity thoroughly. Apply etchant to the bonding surface, rinse, and dry. Apply a thin uniform layer of adhesive and light cure with a dental curing lamp for 20 seconds. Place composite resin in increments. For each increment, ensure the curing light intensity is at least 400 mW per cm2 and irradiate for 20 seconds. For depths greater than 1.5 mm use layered curing or extend irradiation time. Trim and polish the restoration. Inspect occlusion with dental bite paper before final trimming. Use rubber polishing wheels and ultra fine abrasive polishing strips for finish. When needed, use a non oily pulp protection material such as calcium hydroxide before placing the composite. Avoid direct use of bases containing eugenol.
