Check to see if it fits your cookware before ordering. 2, For a standard 10 1 or 2" pan: The lid is placed slightly forward on one side without any gap, so it will fit the 10 1 or 2" size and any smaller. Added versatility to the type of container used in the sous-vide. Make sure to measure your pan before buying. 3, Adequate seal: Made of thick soft silicone, it is heavy enough to lie flat on top of the pan and maintain a good seal, even if the pan is a few inches smaller in diameter. 4, Great for long-term cooking: Helps maintain proper temperature and minimize evaporation. No more getting up in the middle of the night to fill a jar. 5, Bonus: Silent water sloshing sound. Using a sous-vide lid allows you to preheat faster and reduce overall heating time during cooking.
