UV-C Disinfection Lamp 58W Ozone Function 253.5nm Wavelength Space Sterilizing Lamp

Ⅰ. The device uses a 58W UV-C (253.5nM wavelength) spectrum lamp, which disinfects rooms and surfaces. It can be used for disinfecting rooms, mattresses, bedding and other places where viruses, bacteria, mites may be present. The lamp has an ozonation function for disinfecting rooms where UV light cannot reach, so the rooms must be ventilated after disinfection. The device has a remote control and a delay timer to safely leave the room before the lamp turns on. The device cannot be used while there are people, animals or plants in the room. UV-C rays are harmful to both vision and human skin. It has been calculated that the power of the device is enough to kill viruses and bacteria in a 60m2 room. Ⅱ. Ultraviolet rays are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, they are similar to X-rays, radio waves or light rays. Ultraviolet rays used in practice are divided into three ranges: UV-A – long-wave range 400 - 315 nm; UV-B – medium-wave range 315 - 280 nm; UV-C – short-wave range 280 - 100 nm. Ⅲ. UV-A rays come from the sun. They activate photochemical and pigment-forming processes. They have no role in the erythema-causing effect. UV-B rays are widely used in therapy. They create provitamin D and cause pigmentation and erythema effects. UV-C rays have a strong germicidal and embryogenic effect. They can cause skin burns (erythema-causing effect) and inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye (conjunctivitis effect). Ⅳ. UV-C rays can be produced in bactericidal lamps due to the passage of an electric arc through low-pressure mercury vapor (germicidal emitters). Ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 200 nm create ozone in the air. This phenomenon is harmful. To avoid this toxic effect, the germicidal bulbs used in our lamps are covered with a coating of special quartz glass, which has a high transmittance coefficient for germicidal radiation. It also absorbs unwanted ultraviolet rays with a wavelength below 200 nm. Ⅴ. It has been proven that the germicidal effect of ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 250 to 270 nm is maximum. The germicidal action of ultraviolet rays consists of the absorption of ultraviolet light, which is carried out by nucleic acids and proteins. The absorbed energy stimulates chemical reactions in the cell nuclei, thus destroying microbes. The bulbs used in our lamps emit maximum germicidal energy and only in the 250-270 nm range. A - the maximum bactericidal effect is achieved by radiation with a UV-C wavelength range of 250-270 nm; B - nucleic acid absorption curve; C - cosmic radiation, after leakage of low-pressure mercury. Ⅵ. The use of bactericidal lamps is one of the methods for air disinfection. These lamps emit radiation with a UV-C wavelength range of about 253.7 nm. Radiation has an effect that destroys bacteria, viruses, mold, fungus-causing bacteria and various microbes. In order to obtain a clean and sterile environment indoors, the use of bactericidal lamps is necessary. Ⅶ. UV-C rays are used in: Operating rooms, procedure rooms, obstetric wards, quarantine rooms, dental offices; Polyclinics; Laboratories; Pharmacies; Pharmaceutical industry, food industry, cosmetics industry; Hotel industry, culinary arts; Kindergartens and schools; Taxi and passenger transportation. Ⅷ. The instructions for use of the lamps must be studied in detail and the use must comply with all the requirements and methods specified for the daily use of bactericidal lamps. The number of lamps in the room and the selection of power depend on many factors, such as: the height of the room, its shape, the maximum reflection coefficient on surfaces (walls), room temperature, humidity and dust level in the air.
