The Mercury Mariner Outboard 7 rectifier/regulator (12V) is precisely compatible with Mercury/Marino 7.5-9.8HP two-stroke outboard motors (1996-1997 models). It directly replaces OE models 815279T, 815279-3/5, and 883072T, and is compatible with alternative designations such as Sierra 18-5743. It is suitable for models with stator charging systems. The 6-wire, 2-plug design ensures precise matching to original specifications, allowing for non-destructive direct installation without rewiring. Full-wave rectification and switching voltage regulation provide a stable output of 14.4±0.2V, compatible with lead-acid batteries. The aluminum substrate heat dissipation and epoxy-encapsulated shell offer salt spray and vibration resistance, making it suitable for the high humidity and salinity conditions of marine environments. It resolves issues such as unstable charging, voltage drift, and flickering lights in outboard motors, ensuring the stability of the electrical system and battery.
