Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly between the piston and the vessel to improve lubrication and conversion rate. How to use 1. Place a small piece of tinder, about the size of a small bean, on the bottom of the piston. 2. Ensure the cylinder exhaust has been removed. 3. Optionally apply a light film of petroleum jelly to the piston shaft or vessel wall for smoother movement. 4. Push the piston into the vessel rapidly and firmly. The compressed gas will heat and can ignite the tinder. 5. Note that ignition depends on the tinder material and its autoignition temperature.
