Made by Oka of Japan, this sharp leather lacing and stitching chisel is made from quality materials and is ready to use right out of the packaging. This thonging chisel has a handle that undergoes a knurling process for improved performance and usability. It is also tempered from the handle to the prongs to improve its toughness, making it great for leathercraft. This tool has evenly spaced prong tips and prong widths for producing precise and clean leather lacing holes.This two-in-one thonging tool is great not only for making lacing holes for very fine lather lace, but the holes it makes can be used for horizontal stitch holes as well, giving you excellent versatility.Punch stitching or lacing slits in larger corners of your leather with this 2-prong lacing chisel. Use a soft-headed hammer and a poundo board underneath your leather project as a cutting pad when punching holes with this lacing chisel. This will protect both your tool and your work surface.
