Ideal for locating the correct fiber for splicing or quickly pinpointing a break. Our 30mW optical fiber locator emits bright red light (650nm) for efficient fiber tracing, fiber routing, and continuity testing. Breaks or faults in the fiber refract the light, creating a bright glow around the fault area. [Excellent Features] Thanks to its many features, such as constant output power, support for multiple interfaces, low battery warning, long battery life, and long range, this fiber optic tester is perfect for field testing. It is exceptionally bright and powered by a convenient AA battery. [Versatile] 2.5 mm universal connector – the detector's connector is compatible with ST, SC, FC, and LC connectors in round and square shapes for various fiber optic cables. [Long range] The 30 mW optical fault location sensor generates a strong red signal with a range of up to 20–30 kilometers. The highly efficient power supply ensures a stable power supply. [Shock and dust resistant sensor tip] The stainless steel sensor tip and aluminum housing protect against shocks and dust. Grounding the housing effectively prevents damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
