Its high recovery rate makes it possible to repair most damaged cable jackets without removing the connectors. Therefore, 3:1 heat shrink tubing can be used in many more applications than 2:1 heat shrink tubing. Heat-activated adhesive liner It This is a waterproof heat shrink tubing with the inner adhesive layer. When heat is applied, the heat shrink tubing will straighten and the inner adhesive layer will melt. A small bead of clear adhesive (approximately 1mm wide) becomes visible at the end of the heated sheath. Once cooled, it forms a rigid seal. Heat activated glue bonds strongly to wires, connectors or any other surface. As the glue flows, it pushes out the air and fills the gaps between the wire and the tube, making the connection watertight. For best results, we recommend using a heat gun. Double-Wall Heat-Shrink Tubing Marine-grade double-wall heat-shrink tubing provides improved rigidity and resistance to abrasion.
