Rear Soft Top Seal Repair Kit – Weatherproof Self-Adhesive Roof Trim Replacement Compatible with R52 Convertible 2001-2006 (Mini One, Cooper, Cooper S) This DIY repair kit replaces the worn or cracked rubber seal on the rear soft top of your R52 convertible. It is a cost-effective alternative to buying an original replacement part. The kit covers the top rubber above the chrome trim that wraps around the rear above the boot and quarter panels – the area most prone to aging and sun damage. Key Features: • Self-adhesive with strong 3M tape • Approximately 2 meters total length • Simple installation: trim to length, peel and stick • Restores weather protection and protects stitching from UV damage Installation Tips: 1. Clean the surface thoroughly for maximum adhesion. 2. Remove old rubber completely down to the plastic base using a sharp craft knife. 3. Apply the new strip over the flat edge, overlapping slightly onto the roof material. Use super glue (not included) along hidden areas or silicone if needed to prevent lifting. 4. For best results, remove the chrome strip (requires torx screws, accessible by releasing side latches in boot loading mode) to cut and fit away from the car – avoid cutting the roof fabric. Note: After installing, avoid using a pressure washer on the roof and seal. Clean with a sponge and bucket rinse when necessary. Package Includes: • 1x replacement self-adhesive rubber seal
