Installation and usage notes
Ensure motor wires are pressed firmly into the receiving terminals on the driver board. Poor contact can cause loss of phase operation and may burn out the chip.
Terminal screws have some clearance. Use thicker, solid conductors where possible to ensure reliable connection.
Identifying the common port on a fourwire motor: measure resistance between terminals with a multimeter. The COM terminal is the one whose resistance to each of the other three terminals is the lowest and approximately equal.
