This 400g bag contains a selection of high-quality full-grain vegetable tanned leather scraps, professionally skived and machine-cut from undyed tanlow 1.4mm cowhide. These pieces are offcuts from our standard leather sheet production and offer a cost-effective solution for leathercraft enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals seeking small quantities of premium leather.All scraps are tanned in Japan using traditional vegetable tanning methods from humanely sourced hides and comply with strict environmental and quality controls. Each piece features a clean, natural grain surface and smooth skived flesh side, with no plastic coating or artificial processing.The scrap bag may contain a variety of sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, making it ideal for small projects such as cardholders, keychains, patches, watch straps, wallets, or as practice material for tooling, carving, dyeing, and stamping. Both the edges and flesh sides can be burnished, and the leather accepts stamping and carving exceptionally well.This listing is for the 400g bag only, but the following cut sheet sizes are also available and sold separately:• A4 size (210mm x 297mm / 8.2 x 11.7 inches) – similar to US Letter• A3 size (297mm x 420mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inches) – double the size of A4• A2 size (420mm x 594mm / 16.5 x 23.4 inches) – four times the size of A4• 400g pack of high-quality scrap leather – this listingPlease note: Scraps are randomly selected from production offcuts.
