This A3-sized leather sheet is cut from full-grain, black vegetable tanned cowhide. It has been professionally tanned, skived, and hand cut to a consistent working thickness of approximately 1.2mm (±0.07mm). Measuring 297mm x 420mm (11.7 x 16.5 inches), it provides twice the surface area of an A4 sheet, making it ideal for medium-sized leathercraft projects such as wallets, organisers, pouches, or tool rolls.Tanned in Japan from humanely sourced hides, this leather is produced using traditional vegetable tanning methods under strict environmental controls. The black finish is achieved during tanning and enriched with a professional oil treatment. This leather is not suitable for further dyeing, stamping, or lacquering due to the oiled surface, but both the edges and the flesh side can be burnished to a smooth, polished finish.This listing is for the A3 size only.
