Craft Sha Leathercraft 1.2mm 400g Full Grain Red Vegetable Tanned Leather

This 400g bag contains a varied assortment of red vegetable tanned leather trimmings. Each piece is cut from professionally finished full-grain cowhide that has been tanned, oiled, and skived in Japan. These are genuine production offcuts generated during sheet cutting and are ideal for makers working on detailed or small-format leathercraft.The rich red tone is applied during the vegetable tanning process and sealed with oil for flexibility and durability. While the leather has been deeply dyed, it is not suited for additional stamping, dyeing, or lacquering due to the surface oil content. Edges and the flesh side, however, can be cleanly burnished.This listing includes the 400g bag only. Other standard sheet sizes are sold separately:• A4 size (210mm x 297mm / 8.2 x 11.7 inches), similar to US Letter• A3 size (297mm x 420mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inches), double the size of A4• A2 size (420mm x 594mm / 16.5 x 23.4 inches), four times the size of A4• 400g pack of red leather scraps and trimmingsTrimmings vary in shape and dimension and are skived to a consistent thickness of approximately 1.2mm. This makes them especially well suited for:• Card pockets and wallet inserts• Small tabs, tags, and decorative accents• Keychains, strap loops, and attachments• Prototyping new patterns and product layouts• Burnishing, stitching, and assembly practicePlease be aware that each pack is unique.
