This electromechanical hygrostat is designed to control enclosure heaters, helping to raise the dew point when relative humidity exceeds 65%. It effectively prevents condensation and corrosion in cabinets and enclosures. The switch difference is 4% RH (±3% tolerance), and it allows an air velocity of up to 15 m/s. The contact is a change-over type with a durability of 100,000 cycles. Minimum switching capacity is 20 V AC or DC at 100 mA, while maximum is 250 V AC at 5 A (or 1 A for DC, 20 W). It complies with EMC standards EN 55014-1, EN 55014-2, EN 61000-3-2, and EN 61000-3-3. Connection is via a 3-pole terminal suitable for 2.5 mm² rigid wire or 1.5 mm² stranded wire with ferrule, with a clamping torque of 0.5 Nm max. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022. The housing is made of plastic with UL94 V-0 rating, in light grey. Installation position is variable. Operating temperature range is 0°C to +60°C (32°F to 140°F), and storage temperature range is -20°C to +80°C (-4°F to 176°F). Protection type is IP20.
