PA66, also called nylon polyamide 66, is a tough engineering plastic with useful wear resistance and a low-friction surface for nut fitting in light assemblies. This size suits compact separator blocks, stand-offs and panel spacing, especially where a non-metallic threaded bar is easier to trim, position or identify than steel. The headless full-thread form lets compatible M8 nuts be positioned along the rod, or the rod can be cut carefully to shorter sections. PA66 can absorb a small amount of moisture, so check thread fit, tightening and the working environment before final use.
