Product overview A durable, spunbond geotextile designed for longterm weed control in landscapes, gardens, and planting rows. The fabric uses a threelayer construction that balances strong lightblocking performance with water and nutrient permeability, while remaining easy to cut and install. Key benefits Longterm weed suppression: Threeply construction formed by spunbond layers surrounding a meltblown middle layer blocks light to inhibit perennial weeds. lightblocking: Higher carbon black content enhances opacity to reduce weed germination under the fabric. Durable and userfriendly: Fabric resists unraveling and cuts cleanly with scissors, making installation and trimming fast and accurate. Supports healthy plant growth: Pores allow water and essential nutrients to pass through so vegetables, shrubs, and flowers can grow without obstruction. Low maintenance: Once installed, the fabric requires minimal upkeep, freeing time for gardening tasks. Product features Construction: Spunbond outer layers with a meltblown core for a robust 3ply barrier. Color and markings: Bright green surface printed with guide lines to help align rows and cut planting holes straight. Cutability: Easy to cut to size with scissors; edges do not unravel. Sizes: Available in a full range of common sizes; custom sizes available on request. Multifunction: Suitable for vegetable rows, flower beds, shrub borders, and under mulch or gravel on pathways. How it solves common gardening problems Stops weed growth by blocking sunlight and creating a physical barrier to weed emergence. Reduces time spent weeding and maintenance while allowing desirable plants to receive water and nutrients. Printed guide lines help maintain straight planting rows and consistent spacing for higher planting accuracy. Typical use scenarios Vegetable garden rows: Lay the fabric and use the printed guide lines to cut evenly spaced holes for seedlings, then burn the cut edges briefly to prevent fraying. Landscape beds and shrub borders: Place fabric under mulch to suppress perennial weeds around shrubs and perennials while preserving soil moisture. Pathways and under gravel: Install under pathway materials to limit weed intrusion and reduce upkeep on walking surfaces. Installation notes Prepare the area by removing sharp objects and leveling the surface. Unroll the fabric and lay it as flat as possible. Overlap edges where needed to prevent light gaps. Cut holes or slits for plants with scissors. After cutting, lightly burn the edge of each hole with a candle to seal and prevent fraying. Secure fabric with landscape pins or staples where appropriate and cover with mulch, soil, or gravel as required. Performance and care Designed for longterm use in outdoor landscapes.
