This locator is compatible with Android and Apple iOS devices. Is there a distance limit? There are no global distance restrictions. As long as there are Apple devices within 10-50 meters, the device can be located. Is it real-time? When Apple devices are nearby, it provides near real-time positioning. The more Apple devices in the vicinity, the more accurate the location becomes. If no Apple devices are present, positioning will not occur until devices come within range, which may result in location updates every 5 to 15 minutes. What is the working principle? The device emits a secure Bluetooth signal every two seconds. Nearby Apple devices, such as iPhones, iPads, or computers, can detect this signal and upload the information to Apple’s iCloud service to generate location data. Only the owner of the locator can access the location information. The more Apple devices nearby, the faster and more accurate the updates will be. Where is it most effective? It works best in urban areas or locations with high concentrations of Apple device users. Remote areas or places with few Apple users may not be suitable.
