Pack of 2 Coloured Glass Dispersion Prism Cubes for Photography, Light Refraction and Home Decor

Dispersion Prism Cube Set This pack of two coloured glass dispersion prisms offers a simple way to explore the behaviour of natural light. Each 2x2cm cube is made from optical glass with a coating mirror film, designed to split light into its component colours and reveal the kind of refraction effects that are often used in photography and optical experiments. Whether you are new to light physics or simply enjoy hands-on science, these prisms make the underlying principles easy to see for yourself. Practical Use and Photography The optical glass construction provides a clear, reliable surface for experimenting with light refraction. When held up to a window or a direct light source, the prism produces visible colour separation, which can be used to add creative flair to photo shoots or to study how light behaves as it passes through glass. For those just starting out, the cube format is straightforward to handle and offers an immediate, tangible demonstration of how white light can be broken into a spectrum. Teaching and Decoration Beyond photography, these prism cubes work well as a teaching aid in classrooms or as a research tool for informal study. They also make an interesting desk ornament or home decoration, catching the light in a way that adds a subtle scientific touch to any room. If you are looking for a thoughtful DIY gift for someone with a curious mind, this set offers both visual appeal and practical function in one compact package.
