7 Band Equalizer Headphone Amplifier Preamp with 3.5mm Input, 2 Channel Audio Mixer

7 Band Equaliser Preamp for Car Audio and Headphones This compact 7-band equaliser preamp brings precise tone shaping to your car audio system and headphone listening. Built around a classic TL074-based equalisation circuit, it offers independent control across seven frequency bands, letting you tailor the sound to suit your music, your speakers and your listening environment. Precise Tone Control The equalisation circuit provides a control range of ±12 dB across seven bands centred at 60 Hz, 150 Hz, 400 Hz, 1 kHz, 3 kHz, 6.5 kHz and 15 kHz. This gives you the flexibility to boost bass presence, tame harsh treble or fine-tune the midrange to match your preferences. The preamp section uses a classic 4580 operational amplifier to deliver 5x gain (14 dB), with an input impedance of 20 kΩ and an output impedance of 600 Ω, making it straightforward to integrate into a range of audio setups. Headphone Amplifier and Connectivity A dedicated NE5532-based balanced headphone amplifier drives the 47 earbud driver circuit, providing enough output to control a variety of headphones with adjustable height. The 3.5 mm input accepts a 4-pin plug, and the output connects to a headset with microphone, allowing normal voice calls on a mobile phone. An additional RCA connector is also included for flexible connection to other audio sources. Practical Use Whether you are refining the sound in your vehicle or adjusting the tone of your headphones, this equaliser preamp offers hands-on control in a compact form. The combination of the 7-band EQ, preamp gain and headphone output makes it a versatile addition to a car audio system or a desktop headphone setup.
