Chisel Honing Guide for Planes and Chisels with Fixed Angle Sharpening

Fixed Angle Sharpening for Consistent Edges Our honing guide locks your chisel or plane blade at a fixed angle, so every pass across the whetstone follows the same precise line. This removes the guesswork from manual sharpening and helps prevent the uneven thinning that occurs when the angle drifts by hand. The result is a straight, even edge that stays sharp for longer and is ready for fine woodworking tasks. Adjustable Guide with Ruler Accessories The guide includes ruler accessories that let you set the distance between the blade edge and the guide body. This adjusts the effective sharpening angle to suit different tools and personal preferences. By setting the ruler once, you can repeat the same geometry across multiple sessions, giving you consistent and accurate results without needing to measure each time. Secure Grip for Most Tools Metal studs lock the blade firmly in place, holding tools securely from 0 to 2.55 inches in width. This covers a practical range of bench chisels, plane irons and similar edge tools, so you can switch between different blades without changing setup. The clamping mechanism keeps the blade stable during use, reducing the risk of slippage while you work. Smooth Rolling Action Extended rollers allow the guide to roll back and forth smoothly along the stone. This keeps the blade in contact with the abrasive surface at a steady angle and makes the sharpening motion more controlled. The design supports a rigorous, precise pass across the stone, helping you maintain an even bevel from heel to tip.
