Whole House Water Pre-Filter, 40 Micron Stainless Steel Braid, Forged Brass, Backwash Cleaning System, DN20

Whole House Pre-Filter with Backwash Cleaning This DN20 whole house pre-filter is designed as the first stage of a water purification system, removing rust and sediment before water reaches the rest of your plumbing. The 40 micron stainless steel braid captures larger particles effectively, helping to protect downstream equipment such as water heaters and reverse osmosis units. The forged brass body provides durability, while the copper cover adds corrosion resistance for long-term use in domestic water systems. Simple Backwash Maintenance The integrated backwash function allows you to clean the filter without dismantling the unit. By reversing the water flow, trapped debris is flushed away, keeping the filter working efficiently and reducing the need for frequent cartridge replacements. This makes the unit particularly suitable for homes with older pipework or mains water containing visible particles. Reliable Sealing and Construction The Type 0 rubber seal helps prevent leaks at the connection points, ensuring a secure fit during operation. The forged brass construction offers strength and resistance to pressure, making this pre-filter a dependable addition to your incoming water supply. The 40 micron filtration level balances flow rate with effective particle removal, suitable for whole house applications.
