Optical Glass Colour Prism Sun Catcher, 20x20x20mm, Lambda/4 Flatness

Colour Prism in Optical Glass This 20 x 20 x 20 mm colour prism is crafted from optical glass and works beautifully as a suncatcher, casting soft rainbow refractions when placed in natural light. Its compact, square form makes it easy to position on a windowsill, shelf or hook, adding a subtle play of colour to any room. Precision and Finish Each prism is made to a flatness of lambda/4, with an angular tolerance of 3 arc minutes and a dimensional tolerance of plus or minus 0.05 mm. These tolerances support consistent optical performance, making the prism suitable for decorative use as well as for light experiments, craft projects and optical demonstrations. Practical Use The small size and clean geometry allow for simple handling and mounting, whether suspended as a suncatcher or used as part of a tabletop display. Its clear glass construction keeps the focus on the refracted light, offering a straightforward way to bring colour into a space without the need for additional equipment.
