Adjustable Hand Reamer 7.75-8.5mm Cutting Diameter

Adjustable Hand Reamer for Precision Sizing This adjustable hand reamer is designed for manual machining work where precise hole sizing matters. Available in a range of cutting diameters from 6 mm to 19 mm, this particular variant covers a cutting diameter of 7.75 mm to 8.5 mm, giving you flexibility within a single tool. The blades are housed in tapered slots within the reamer body, allowing them to be moved and set to your required diameter with ease. Simple Adjustment Mechanism Adjusting the reamer is straightforward. The blades travel within the conical slots, and by loosening the nut at one end and tightening the nut at the other, you can move the blades smoothly to alter the cutting size. This allows the reamer to be set to any desired diameter within its adjustment range, so you can match the tool precisely to the job in hand. Compensating for Wear The adjustment feature also helps extend the life of the tool. As the blades wear through use, the reamer can be readjusted to maintain a specific size, compensating for material loss and keeping your holes accurate over time. When further adjustment is no longer enough, the reamer can be expanded and reground to the appropriate size, then resharpened for continued service. This makes it a practical, long-lasting addition to a machinist's toolkit.
