1000W Vertical Axis Wind Turbine with MPPT Charge Controller, 12V/24V

A Compact 1000W Vertical Axis Wind Turbine for Reliable Off-Grid Power This complete wind turbine generator set delivers up to 1000W of rated power, making it a practical addition to a home energy system, a hybrid solar wind setup, or an off-grid location such as a boat, offshore installation, or surveillance site. Designed as a vertical axis model, it offers a compact footprint while producing useful energy from a gentle breeze. The set includes the turbine and a dedicated MPPT charge controller, with this particular version configured for 24V battery systems. Efficient Power Generation in a Durable Build The turbine is built around a three-phase AC permanent magnet synchronous generator, chosen for its efficiency and dependable output. It starts generating at a low wind speed of just 2m/s, so it begins working in relatively light air, while its rated wind speed is 12m/s. The five nylon fibre blades span a wheel diameter of 900mm, with each blade measuring 600mm in length. This combination helps the unit run with low vibration and low noise, despite its power output. The blue finish and lantern-like silhouette give it a neat, unobtrusive appearance that suits residential or rural settings. Engineered to Handle Strong Winds Durability has been a clear focus in the construction. The shell is formed from die-cast aluminium alloy and sits on a double bearing seat, which provides greater resistance to strong winds and contributes to safe, reliable operation over time. The turbine can withstand a safe wind speed of up to 45m/s, and it uses electromagnetic braking to protect the system in particularly demanding conditions. An automatic wind direction adjustment mechanism ensures the turbine continually orientates itself to make the most of the available breeze. Smart Controller for Stable Charging The included MPPT charge controller uses a high-power tracking intelligent microprocessor to manage the flow of electricity. It actively regulates both current and voltage, helping to protect your batteries and improve the overall efficiency of your charging setup. This makes the system well suited to a hybrid solar wind installation, where consistent and controlled charging is important. The turbine operates across a wide working temperature range of -40°C to 80°C, so it remains a viable option for varied UK and coastal climates. What You Receive The package contains one wind turbine and one MPPT charge controller, ready to be integrated into your chosen 24V power system.
