Durable Bassoon Balancing Bar Adjuster

Heavy-duty metal adjuster for bassoon balancing bars, built for longevity and functional accuracy. Dimensions: 8 cm length × 2.2 cm width × 1.5 cm height; weight: 42 g. Entirely metallic—no plastic housings, rubber inserts, or adhesive elements. Compatible with all standard bassoon strap configurations that utilise a transverse balancing bar, including German-system and French-system setups. The regulator features a dual-action design: one side controls vertical height via linear strap length adjustment; the other maintains lateral stability by preventing bar rotation during play. Surface finish is matte steel—resistant to fingerprints and light abrasion from daily handling. Tested across 500+ cycles of full-range adjustment under load (simulating 12 months of intensive use), with zero loss of thread integrity or positional drift—validated in real-world conservatoire and youth orchestra settings across England and Scotland.
