A set of seven hand-painted figures in a variety of standing poses. These figures clearly depict a team of German firemen, all are wearing distinctive uniform jackets and trousers. Five are wearing distinctive metal helmets with three wearing breathing apparatus. Five of the figures are actively engaged in firefighting tasks including using an axe and rolling out a fire hose. One of the figures is carrying an unconscious casualty over his shoulders to safety. There is one figure in a seated pose wearing a cap who is likely the driver.
