This LED kit allows you to convert the stock turn signal light incandescent bulbs to switchback dual-color LED bulbs. Before that, your original turn signal bulbs would only light up when you use the turn signal. However, now you can use these switchback LED bulbs to light up as daytime running lights in xenon white and still function as turn signal lights in amber. There are 28 pieces of premium quality high power Samsung SMD LED chips on each bulb(21 pieces amber for turn signal lights and 7 pieces white for daytime running lights), which produce super bright white and amber color light. These switchback bulbs light up bright white for running lights when the paring lights or headlights are turned on, but still blink amber when you activate the turn signals, for a unique dual-color effect! When the headlights and parking lights are turned off, only the yellow turn signal LEDs will flash. This LED kit comes with load resistors for preventing the hyper flash, don't worry about the annoying hyper flash problem. The load resistor will get very hot when working, please mount it on metal part only. These sockets will fit the stock front turn signal lights hole on your ST1300. The stock sockets are single filament 7440-type, in order to add the white daytime running light function on the turn lights, you will need to cut off the old 7440 sockets and connect these 7443 sockets. These new socket has 3 wires, connect the white wire to the negative of the turn light, the green wire to the positive of the turn light, and the red wire to the positive of the parking light. We don't know the polarity of your turn lights and parking lights, before installing, you need to test what color of the wire represents what polarity. The load resistors will prevent the hyper flash issue and make sure the LED bulbs work properly.
