Let the grounds steep for as long as you want before pressing. - Valve design: The Flow Filter Cap uses a pressure-sensitive valve that stays closed until you press, enabling a longer brew time for more intense flavors. - Compatible and limits: Fits Original, Go and Clear coffee makers and works with metal and paper filters. Not compatible with XL. We do not recommend using the Flow Control Filter Cap on Original coffee makers made before 2014 due to a change in material that may affect the fit. - Filter flexibility: Use with the stainless steel reusable filter, a paper micro-filter, or both for varied flavor profiles. - Cleaning and maintenance: To clean the Flow Control Filter Cap, rinse with water. For a more thorough cleaning, use the top rack of your dishwasher. - Use scenarios: 1) Extend brew time at home for a richer, bolder cup. 2) Experiment with grind size and brew time to craft custom recipes. 3) Swap between steel and paper filters (or use both) to alter mouthfeel and strength.
