Spare part pressing cloth For 6 liter fruit press Material: polyester ø 190 mm Height 390 mm 6 liter pressing bag for the fruit press The pressing bag is designed for the maximum capacity of 6 liters of the fruit press. Follow the rules for using the fruit press: Depending on the must (heavily crushed fruit), it is possible to carry out a correct pressing quickly and easily. Each type of fruit requires a specific preparation method. The grapes must be broken beforehand. This can be done with a fruit mill or by hand. Pome fruits must be seeded beforehand. The amount of juice obtained depends on the water content of the fruit and not on the effort of the user. Properly prepared, the fruit can easily be squeezed with one hand. With all presses of this type it is not possible to press whole fruits. A must must be prepared (heavily crushed fruit), otherwise it is impossible to successfully press. A wine or fruit press cannot be compared to a juicer. The two products work in completely different ways. Grapes, p. e.g., cannot be processed in a centrifuge because the seeds are destroyed and bitter substances are released. Only a fruit press leaves the seeds intact, and the juice can then be transformed into wine. Apples, pears and other fruits must be transformed into must before being pressed. Whole, halved or quartered fruits cannot be juiced. Screw presses are not designed for this.
