The cable tracker features an ABS rubber body with shock resistance, anti-fouling and anti-static properties for safer, easier use. A carrying case is included for storage or portability. Kit contents: 1x transmitter, 1x receiver, 1x test leads, 1x carrying case, 1x instruction manual (battery not included). Note: The cable break detector cannot test cables underground, and testing is only possible when it touches the cable sheath. How it works: It sends a single audio signal or a dual audio signal to the target cables or wires. It must be grounded during use to achieve best performance. The tracker traces the cables or wires and identifies the break point. It can identify the status on a working telephone line (idle, ringing, off-hook). The audio signal enables quick cable tracing. Detection and verification: The tracker detects the passage of cables or wires without damaging insulation. Use it to check cable continuity, trace routes and diagnose breakpoints. Use scenarios: - Locating a suspected break in home or office wiring inside walls or conduits. - Tracing and mapping cable routes in buildings for maintenance or renovation. - Verifying a telephone line status and locating faults along the run during service work.
