Without a capsule in place, water will exit the drawer quickly without the rotating rinse action, potentially causing splashing. When no capsule is present during cleaning, some machines may leak upon emptying due to the reduced thickness affecting the seal between the drawer and machine. Note: With prolonged use and insufficient daily maintenance, internal components such as the grinder, extractor, and powder channel may accumulate coffee residue, scale, and dust, which are not easily visible. This buildup can impact machine hygiene and longevity. Performing thorough maintenance, including disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, calibration of key parts, and replacement of seals and other wear items, helps extend the machine's lifespan and maintain cleanliness.
