With the purchase of this skimmer set, you get a practical integrated skimmer including an inlet pipe. The skimmer is mounted on the edge of the pool and connected to a pump (not included in the delivery). The pool water flows through the suction opening directly into the skimmer. Impurities such as leaves, grass or insects that fall into the water are collected in the large dirt container. The pre-filtered water then enters the pump and is filtered there. The water then flows back into the pool. Even without connection to a pump, the skimmer collects foreign objects lying on the water surface. Coarser debris is collected in the filter basket and can be removed manually.Such a skimmer guarantees clean and clear water and should not be missing in any pool. By collecting the impurities before they sink to the bottom, algae formation is significantly reduced. Regardless of whether it is with or without a pump connection, large particles such as leaves should be removed regularly to avoid affecting the skimmer's performance.The skimmer can be used in pools with steel walls. If your pool does not have a pre-drilled hole to insert the skimmer into, you can simply use the included gasket as a template. This way, you can cut a suitable hole in the pool's steel wall using metal scissors and zinc spray (both not included in delivery) to mount the skimmer.
