These seals must be installed into their grooves, and then sized to the engineered dimension before the injectors are installed into their bores in the cylinder head. EN-49245 must be used to install the seals correctly and to they are sized correctly for leak-free operation. Installation Steps Tips: 1. Cut off the old seal near the tip of the injector. 2. Place the seal installer guide(pilot cone) on the tip of the injector. 3. Push the new seal on the installer guide(pilot cone). 4. Use the seal installer to push the seal into the groove of the injector. 5. Use the seal sizer tool to compress the seal to the correct size.
