Allows attachment of a standard 1 or 2inch (13mm) garden hose in conjunction with a Snap-On hose connector. These fittings are Hoselock compatible. The tap also acts as a useful back-up safety valve, or for precise flow control. These items are supplied fully assembled and not in kit form. It will fit most standard IBC containers in the UK and Europe where the buttress thread is an S60X6 coarse thread. An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60mm from end to end of thread and has a 6mm pitch (distance between threads). If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20 percent not are not), you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to S60X6 you will need.
