How to replace a band saw tire? 1. Unplug the band saw, loosen the blade tension and remove the blade. Then remove the band saw wheel. 2. Once removed, completely remove or cure the old tire and any remaining debris. 3. Slide a section of the tire onto the rim and then slide a short rod or tube between the tire and the wheel. Roll the tube around the rim once to even out the elasticity of the tire. 4. Squeeze a small amount of glue onto a brush and apply it to the tire and wheel surface. Roll and repeat all the way around the rim. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours before using the saw again. 8 inch Diameter: for 8 inch (205 mm) band saw wheels Suitable for Draper, Einhell, Scheppach HBS20 band saws with 1400 mm & 1425 mm band saw blades.
