Technical Specifications of the Ceramic Filter Cartridge: - Average chlorine reduction (taste and odor): >99% - Average reduction of suspended particles (algae, rust, etc.): >99.99% - Average reduction of water turbidity: >99.99% - Average bacterial reduction: >99.98%. This cartridge is intended for use with drinking water only. It is not designed to treat rainwater, well water, or any other water of unknown quality. - Dimensions: Length: approximately 25 cm Outer diameter: approximately 5.4 cm. Installing the Filter Cartridge: 1 - Ensure the rubber O-ring is wet and properly seated on the threaded mount. 2 - Follow the instructions provided with your water filter system to isolate the water supply and replace the water filter. Important: Do not overtighten the fittings. 3 - Rinse the system (with the new cartridge installed) for ten minutes by opening the tap or the isolation valve. 4 - Leave the filter system to stand overnight. 5 - Rinse the system again for two minutes by opening the tap again. It is recommended to clean the cartridge with clean water every 3 to 6 months, depending on the water quality, to remove accumulated sediment deposits. The cartridge has a lifespan of 6 months. Replace it at least once a year. Install only with cold water. Do not use with microbiologically hazardous water or water of unknown quality without an adequate disinfection system before installing the cartridge.
