This box is compatible with engine control units EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 (petrol). The EDC15 control unit for diesel engines is installed in ADI/SEAT and ŠKODA models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control unit for petrol engines, starting from 1.6L, is also supported. Also supported are control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Plug the Drive Box EDC15/ME7 into the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic socket. Switch the Drive Box to “OFF”. After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED indicator will flash slowly at first, then rapidly — indicating that the immobilizer function has been disabled. The vehicle will start without a transponder key. To restore immobilizer functionality, switch the Drive Box to “ON”. After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be reactivated (IMMO ON). Compatible with vehicles equipped with Motronic control units EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 (petrol). Not compatible with 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4L, or 1.6L petrol engines.
