Mount the valve onto a plate or board of your grill or fire pit using the mounting screw and flange. 2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the corresponding sides of the valve. Ensure connections are tight to prevent gas leakage. 3. Secure the M8 thermocouple nut tightly onto the valve end. (Verify that the valve end thread is 8 mm prior to purchase.) 4. Ensure proper connection between the thermocouple and its threaded end. 5. Turn the knob to open the gas supply and press the valve stem for 5–10 seconds until the thermocouple tip is sufficiently heated. 6. Release the valve stem.
