Usage Tips:How To Replace a Band Saw Tire? 1. Unplug the band saw, loosen the saw blade tension, and remove the blade. Then remove the band saw tire. 2. Once removed, completely remove or cut the old tire and any residue left behind. 3. Position part of the tire onto the rim, then insert a short rod or pipe between the tire and rim. Roll the pipe around the rim to evenly stretch and seat the tire. 4. Apply a small amount of adhesive to a brush and spread it on the inner surface of the tire and the rim. Roll and repeat around the entire rim. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours before using the saw.
