Important note about molding After molding, you may notice a firm inner surface where the material has set. This is the normal formed layer from the molding process. Clean the mouth guard thoroughly before use. Simple molding and fitting instructions 1. Heat water to about 60 to 80 degrees Celsius. Immerse the mouth guard for about 30 seconds. 2. Wet your mouth with water before inserting. 3. Place the softened mouth guard in your mouth, position it comfortably, bite down gently, and press the upper lip and cheeks with your hands to shape the guard to your teeth. 4. Place the mouth guard in cold water to set the shape.
