1. Installation requires no tools and can be mounted in an overhanging position. 2. Release the two hooks on both sides of the shield. 3. Spread the cage just enough to clear the sprinkler frame and deflector, taking care not to damage the sprinkler. 4. Clamp the open end of the cage at the bottom of the sprinkler between the frame and the thread. 5. Re-engage the two hooks on both sides of the sprinkler. Ensure the concave skirt is correctly positioned on the nozzle holder according to the nozzle manufacturer’s instructions. Use only when the recessed nozzle cover can be installed without interfering with the nozzle manufacturer’s specified installation requirements. Designed for recessed sprinkler shields. Compatible with most recessed sprinkler applications.
