This Umebachi Ryoma 21mm Rabbet Plane is designed for accurate trimming of narrow grooves, and fine architectural details. This Japanese-style Kushi Kanna plane is ideal for detailed rabbets, fillister, and panel work where conventional block planes are too large or imprecise.It is most effective for cleaning up interior rebates, sliding door grooves, shoji frames, and other joinery features where a narrow blade width and controlled depth of cut are essential. Woodworkers who regularly restore or build traditional fittings, trim, or window frames will find this tool indispensable for fitting and fine adjustment.
