Description

100A MPPT Solar Charge Controller 48V LCD Display Dual USB Efficiency MultiVoltage

Product description Overview A performance MPPT solar charge controller designed for compatibility with 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery systems. Built for efficient energy conversion, flexible configuration, and reliable protection during charging and operation. Key benefits Improved energy yield: MPPT tracking increases power harvested from photovoltaic panels compared to fixed controllers. Flexible compatibility: Supports common battery voltages and allows user adjustment of output voltage and current to match system needs. Durable and portable: Aluminum alloy housing offers durability in a compact, lightweight package. Protection and reliability: Builtin charging protection and clear wiring procedures reduce risk of damage to the controller and battery. Recommended photovoltaic panel voltages For 12V battery systems, use photovoltaic panels around 18V. For 24V battery systems, use photovoltaic panels around 30V to 37V. For 48V battery systems, use photovoltaic panels around 60V. For photovoltaic arrays around 72V, follow the wiring and safety instructions below to avoid controller damage. Wiring and safety instructions Always connect the battery to the controller first, then connect the photovoltaic panel. When disconnecting, remove the photovoltaic panel first, then the battery. Failure to follow this , especially with highervoltage panels near 72V, can cause controller damage. Ensure the battery voltage meets the minimum thresholds before connecting the photovoltaic panel to avoid voltage identification errors: 12V batteries greater than 10V, 24V batteries greater than 20V, 36V batteries greater than 30V, and 48V batteries greater than 40V. Charging protection settings 12V battery: boost charge above 14.8V automatically changes to float charge of 13.8V. 24V battery: boost charge above 29.6V automatically changes to float charge of 27.6V. 36V battery: boost charge above 44.4V automatically changes to float charge of 41.4V. 48V battery: boost charge above 59.2V automatically changes to float charge of 55.2V. Clock and charging voltage setup Clock setting: With the battery connected, press the clock set button to enter clock setup. Short press the clock set button to save. Charging voltage setting: After saving the clock, long press the set button for 3 to 5 seconds to enter charging voltage configuration. The display cycles through settings: LxxV shows the floating charge voltage and can be adjusted with the up and down buttons. HxxV shows the boost charge voltage and can be adjusted with the up and down buttons. FxxV shows the lowvoltage cutoff for the DC load and can be adjusted with the up and down buttons. After adjustments, long press the set button for 3 to 5 seconds to save and exit. Features and specifications MPPT technology for tracking efficiency and increased energy harvest. Userconfigurable output voltage and current to match battery chemistry and system requirements. Fastresponse, performance design optimized for solar charging. Robust aluminum alloy enclosure for improved heat dissipation and durability. Portable form factor suitable for many small to medium offgrid systems. Typical applications Offgrid cabin and recreational use: Charge a 12V battery bank for lighting, small appliances, and battery maintenance using an 18V panel array. RV and marine systems: Manage charging for 24V onboard systems using 30V to 37V photovoltaic panels. Telecom, backup power, and remote sites: Charge 36V or 48V battery banks with appropriate panels and use the controller to protect and regulate boost and float charging stages. Notes and practices Verify battery voltage before connecting panels to avoid identification errors. Follow the recommended wiring to protect the controller from startup surges, particularly with highervoltage photovoltaic arrays. Adjust charging voltages to match battery manufacturer recommendations where applicable. This controller provides configurable protection and efficient MPPT charging for a variety of battery systems while emphasizing safe wiring and accurate voltage settings.
