Muscle Sensor Board for Electromyography Inputs Description This compact electromyography (EMG) sensor board measures the electrical activity of voluntary muscles, filters and rectifies the signal, and provides a usable voltage output proportional to muscle activity. It is designed for wearable, interactive projects where muscle contractions are used as control inputs. Key benefits Turn muscle activity into control signals: read a voltage that varies from 0 to the supply voltage as a muscle contracts, enabling direct control of electronics without conventional switches. Simple to use: attach standard surface electrodes, read the output, and map muscle contractions to your device inputs. Flexible power and outputs: works from 3.1 V to 5 V single supply, and includes both processed and RAW outputs for advanced signal processing. Wearable and tidy: the updated form factor supports direct connection of sensor leads and reduces bulky cabling for wearable applications. Attach standard surface electrodes to the target muscle area (electrodes not included). 2. Connect electrode leads to the sensor board and power the board with 3.1 V to 5 V. 3. Read the processed output for a clean control signal or the RAW output for custom signal processing. 4. Map the voltage output to your application logic or control hardware.
