Complete the set with a matching 40 inch lead made from cushioned webbing for ultimate comfort on your hands and a solid brass trigger clip.  To asses the collar size you will need, take  3 measurements, one around the neck where the collar sits, the second from in front of the ears to under the chin and the third from behind the ears to under the chin; use the largest measurement to determine the size collar suitable for your dog. Properly fitted the collar will be comfortably loose when not in use, when the Martingale control loop is pulled the two loops ( metalwear on the small loop of the martingale) will close together without choking your dog.
