Hold the burner on the gas canister and screw clockwise until securely tightened. Open the pot support legs fully. Turn the valve adjustment knob counterclockwise to allow a small amount of gas to escape, then close the valve and ignite. Reopen the valve and adjust flame as needed. Typical flame color for normal operation is blue. After use, allow the burner to cool completely, unscrew from the canister, fold the legs, and store.
